Got the OK to get back on a bike. I decided the Takara SS needed to come out first.

It was a brisk start, about 28°F and no wind. I thought, “HEY! I’ll be able to knock out a good one this morning.”
I made it exactly 400 yards when my legs started yelping at me, “OMG wtf are you doing to us?”

I then tried to tell them to STFU, this is MY ride, but about then my lungs stepped in and started some BS whining about being short of breath or some sh*t like that.   Long story short, I got about 8 miles in and felt like I had been whipped. Well, truth be told I did get whipped. and beaten. and run over by a small truck.

I hope the legs and lungs come back soon.

Shoulder is doing well, hurts like the dickens but I am finally starting strengthening and conditioning. Rehab guy (sadist!) sez it is expected to be about 3 more months before I am back to near normal and go back to full duty. Nothing like a loss of 7 months to really make me rethink my priorities.
