I have been absent cuz of my blow out with my shoulder. I had 5 of the worst weeks of my life dealing with it post-surgery. Immobilizers suck. Not being on my bike sucks. Being told I can’t ride my bike for 6 more months was worse. You don’t wanna hear me whine so … I’ll be short.

Dr fixed it, now it’s healing, I am streching it, next week start training it. 12 weeks from now, if I am a good boy and work hard, I’ll be good as a gold again.

My grandbaby is gettting HUUUGE!!! and cuter by the day. She definitely takes after her granpa! Ok, maybe she looks like here mama and her daddy, but I gotta butt in there somewhere! She’s just so cute

We (the FatKats) got thru our weekend in October with our race.The Sheboygan Wigwam/Ultimax is over for another year. I think it went pretty well. I had a good time and only got moderately stressed for my first time at the helm as race director. I look forward to taking lessons learned and going into next year, maybe enjoy it a bit more. Iwon’t even try to say it’ll be easier, but I hope to have a better grip on race needds and now know some of what to expect on race day.

 Bikes- I ordered a new bike today.I am getting the Salsa Dos Niner. It is bright orange and very schwing! baby! yeah! I will work on components throughout the winter and hope to have a fine steed to ride in the spring. We’ll worry about racing when I better see how the arm and shoulder heal. I feel like a kid with a new toy. I can’t wait to see it! My wife is dreading “another bike” in the house. She doesn’t believe me but I plan to sell the NRS carbon bike in teh spring as well. TheBossLady also ordered herself a new (NOS) bike. She picked out the feminine 2007 Stumpjumper in Black and Pink.
